I worked the welcome desk, and at the desk, I helped with directing people to different rooms around campus and answered phone calls and transferred phone calls to different departments at Blue Ash. Also, I worked one of my peers Prerna's welcome desk because she wasn't able to get to her desk shift on time, and that was due to the fact that she had a meeting with her professor around that time. By helping out I learned that it is important to rely on friends when you are not able to do something. In my epidemiology class, I learned about epidemics that occurred during the 90's and 80's. Also, ways to avoid events like this in the future. Also, I worked at the English conversation group event. I helped set up the tables and chairs and assisted with everything that was needed during the event.
